Our certified-organic coconut sugar has a delicious, sweet-caramel flavour, which makes for a great alternative to regular cane sugar. It’s the perfect addition to coffee, tea, baking and cooking.
No additives, bleaching agents, or chemicals are used to make this coconut sugar.
Our organic Coconut Sugar is made from the coconut sap collected from organically grown coconut trees in Indonesia by our co-op partners. This is done by connecting a bamboo tube to the coconut flower stem which catches the nectar as it’s produced by the tree. It’s then collected by co-op members every 4-5 hours before being put through a natural dehydration process until sugar crystals are formed.
